Why people see me

  • They are in a relationship which is not satisfying and want to do something positive about it.
  • They have physical symptoms such as chest pain general aches and pains or excessive tiredness for which medical professionals can find no cause.
  • They are finding it difficult to cope with a change in circumstances e.g. death, separation/divorce, job loss, children leaving home, parents/child conflict or life changes such as the arrival of a new baby or onset of menopause.
  • They are tired of feeling sad, lonely or depressed.
  • They are overwhelmed by events in life and need to sort out priorities.
  • They want to explore the life source within.
  • They need someone to talk to who is non-judgmental and supportive.

Individual Counseling

Often we attempt to avoid, deny or ignore pain and struggle in our lives. I believe that when we can acknowledge vulnerability, it is the start of valuing our knowing. A place where healing can start to take place.

Supervision

I provide professional supervision where Counsellors, Social workers, Community support workers, Pastoral care staff, Ministers of religion and Managers can discuss any issues they have in their work in a safe and friendly environment.

Spiritual Direction

This is an ancient art that goes by a variety of names- spiritual companionship and spiritual mentoring. This art is about the person’s awareness and awakening to the ‘life source’ within. The words people use to describe this may be different.

Counselling is about establishing an environment where an individual feels safe and is listened to in an empowering, strengthening and respectful way.
